Dr. J. Robb Reinshagen

I was one of the oldest in my class – Chiropractic class, that is. While some may think that is a bad thing, for me, it was one of the best choices in my life. A pipe fitter previously, I knew I wanted to make a difference by helping people who were experiencing pain – like me after a hard day’s work!!

Dr. Reinshagen began his pre-chiropractic education at Cincinnati State, in his hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio. While in attendance there, he studied the basic sciences such as inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, biology, along with basic physiology and anatomy courses.

After completing his study there, he was accepted at Life College of Chiropractic in Marietta, Georgia, fortunately a much warmer climate than Ohio. During his four years at Life, his courses included biochemistry, a major emphasis on anatomy (his favorite, as he learned from the inside out how the body functioned) human physiology, X-ray, diagnosis, chiropractic adjusting techniques and patient care in the Public Clinic. After graduating in 1997, Dr. Reinshagen returned to the west side of the Cincinnati area to establish his practice.

“I am excited to be able to help my patients who suffer with a variety of conditions – from a youngster with eczema or ear infections to an older patient with vertigo – even a pregnant patient’s headaches!”  Since one area of focus is stretching, you will often find Dr. Reinshagen on the exercise mat side by side with his patients. “We love skeptics,” continues Dr. Reinshagen. “I still remember the concerns and apprehension I had when I went to the chiropractor for the first time. So we make it a point to explain everything in advance, answer questions and attempt to over communicate. Patients appreciate that.”

Dr. Reinshagen is married to Jennifer and they have a rescue dog, Maizie. Since Jennifer is very involved with animal rescue, Dr. Reinshagen has added chiropractic for the family pets to his office. An avid Notre Dame and University of Cincinnati football fan, he looks forward to trying to attend the games every fall! Dr. Reinshagen also enjoys helping students at his alma mater – Oak Hills High School. Since he is already treating many of the student athletes, he is hoping to support the other schools in the same capacity.

A devoted health nut, Dr. Reinshagen relishes his own work out time, which stresses the importance of stretching. Aside from the usual house and yard upkeep, he enjoys making the additional effort to keep fit and trim. While his nine siblings may tease that his workouts are to allow him to eat whatever he wishes, Dr. Reinshagen knows he does it for the base of his good health – his spine.
